What To Expect

Initial Consultation

An initial consultation lasts 75 minutes. I will take a thorough assessment of your current symptoms as well as a detailed health history, looking at your complete health picture over time so that we can begin to identify the root of your current symptoms.

I will then double check your list of medications, supplements, and allergies that you submitted in your intake form to make sure everything is current and accurate.

I will then use a Chinese modality and look at your tongue and take your pulses, as well as your blood pressure and any other physical examinations that may be useful (ie: respiratory exam etc).

We will conclude the appointment and after you leave I will do any necessary research and check any revelant herb/drug interactions and then I will create your individualised herbal formulas, which can be collected on a Thursday or can be posted to you. You will be asked to return for a follow up appointment after 2 weeks to make sure that you are getting on well with the herbs and then we can follow up monthly or as needed after that.
